Your team can answer customers from Risponse without using your phone. You decide who sees which chats.

Roles

  • Admin: Sees every chat and group on your connected numbers and manages settings.
  • Member: Sees only the chats you give them access to.

Invite a teammate

1

Open the team page

Go to your settings and open the team section.
2

Start an invite

Click the invite button and enter one or more email addresses. Separate several with commas.
3

Pick a role

Choose Admin or Member.
4

Choose chat access for members

Pick a label. The member will only see chats that carry it.

Control access with labels

A new member starts with an empty inbox. To share a chat with them, add the matching label to it. To take it away, remove the label. For example, give your support agents the label “Support”. Every chat labelled “Support” now shows up for them and nothing else. To hide phone numbers from agents, also use number masking.

Check who has access

Open any chat and look at the access control at the top right. It lists who can see that chat.

Availability and shifts

  • Each agent can mark themselves online or offline.
  • Admins can set status for several people at once.
  • Admins can set working hours by weekday, with a time zone and more than one shift per day.
If you assign chats in turn, you can base it on shifts, on online status, or on both. With both, a chat only goes to someone who is on shift and online. See automations.
Team-level numbers, such as replies and response time, are in workspace metrics.
