What you can control
- Rules. Built-in rules already tell the agent which messages deserve a reply. You can add your own rules in plain language, such as “Do not reply to messages about job applications.”
- Default mode. Choose whether the agent is on for every chat, or off until you enable it for a chat.
- Per-chat switch. You can allow or block the agent in a single chat from that chat’s settings.
- Response delay. The agent waits a moment before replying, which gives your team time to answer first.
- Pause after a human reply. When a team member replies, the agent pauses for a set time.
- Working hours. Limit the agent to certain days and times in your time zone.
- Numbers. Choose which WhatsApp numbers the agent covers.

Internal contacts
The agent should not answer your own colleagues. Mark them as internal contacts so it ignores them.Turning the whole agent on or off is done from the agent overview, not on this page.
