MCP is a standard way for AI apps to talk to other software. With the Risponse MCP server, an AI tool you already use can work with your WhatsApp inbox when you ask it in plain language.

What it can do

After you connect, you could ask your AI tool things like:
  • “Show me chats that are waiting for a reply.”
  • “Search for messages that mention invoice 4821.”
  • “Draft a reply to the last message from this customer.”
The exact actions depend on what the server offers.

Before you start

  • You need a Risponse workspace with at least one connected WhatsApp number.
  • You need an AI app that supports MCP servers, such as Claude.
  • You need permission to manage your workspace.

Connect your AI tool

1

Find the server address

Copy the MCP server address from Risponse. In this guide we call it:
2

Add it to your AI app

In your AI app, look for a place to add a custom connector or MCP server. Paste the address.
3

Sign in and approve access

You will be asked to sign in to Risponse. Choose your workspace and the WhatsApp numbers the AI tool may use.
4

Try a simple request

Ask a read-only question first, such as “List my five most recent chats.”

Stay safe

An AI tool with access can read your customers’ private messages. Only connect tools your company trusts, and only share the numbers it needs.
  • AI can make mistakes. Check any message it drafts before it is sent.
  • Be careful with requests that send messages or change data. Ask the AI to show you the plan first.
  • To stop access, remove the connector in your AI app. Also check your Risponse settings for connected apps.
