Your team can talk to customers by voice without leaving Risponse. Calls use your connected WhatsApp numbers.
Calling may be an early or experimental feature. Check that it is turned on for your workspace.

What to know first

  • Voice calls only. Video and group calls are not supported.
  • One call at a time per person. End one before starting another.
  • Any teammate can answer an incoming call.
  • Teammates can join a live call to help.

Make a call

1

Start a call

Open the Calls page and choose to start a new call, or click the phone icon inside a one-to-one chat.
2

Choose who to call

Search your contacts or type a new number. Risponse checks that it is on WhatsApp.
3

Pick your number

Select which connected number to call from.
4

Call

Start the call. During the call you can mute yourself or end it.

Answer a call

A pop-up shows who is calling and which of your numbers they dialled. Answer in Risponse or decline.

Call history

The Calls page lists every call with the contact, your number, who handled it, how long it ran, and its status. Statuses include answered, answered elsewhere, missed, and unanswered. You can filter and search the list.

Recordings and summaries

Calls answered in Risponse are recorded. A little after the call ends, you can play the recording, read a transcript, and see an AI summary. Missed calls and calls answered on a phone have no recording.
Recording laws differ by country. Tell customers when calls are recorded, and follow the rules where you operate.

Call alerts

You can adjust pop-ups and ringtones in your notification settings. Turn them off for numbers you do not monitor.
