# App keeps crashing

> Fix Risponse crashes and freezes by clearing stored website data and freeing up memory in Safari, Chrome, and your browser.

If Risponse closes by itself or freezes, it is often using too much memory. Old saved data in your browser can build up over time.

## Likely causes

* Large amounts of saved site data in your browser
* Many busy chats loaded on a device with little free memory
* Too many other tabs or apps open at once

## Quick fixes first

1. Close other tabs and apps.
2. Reload Risponse.
3. Restart your device.

## Clear Risponse data

**In Risponse**

**1. Open the help menu**

Click **Help** and look for an option about the app being slow. 

**2. Reset local data**

Choose to reset all data. You will need to log in again. 

**iPhone Safari**

**1. Open settings**

Go to **Settings**, then **Safari**, then **Advanced**, then **Website Data**.

**2. Delete Risponse data**

Find risponse.com and delete it. 

**iPhone Chrome**

**1. Clear browsing data**

Chrome on iPhone cannot clear one site alone. Open its settings and clear browsing data for all time, including cookies, site data, and cached files.

**Mac Safari**

**1. Manage website data**

Open Safari settings, go to **Privacy**, and choose **Manage Website Data**.

**2. Remove Risponse**

Search for risponse.com, remove it, and click **Done**.
