# Zoho CRM integration

> Connect Risponse to Zoho CRM to link WhatsApp chats with contacts, accounts, and leads, log conversations, and create records automatically.

The Zoho CRM integration connects your WhatsApp chats to your customer records. Your team sees who they are talking to without switching tools.

## What you can do

* **Link a chat** to a Zoho contact, account, or lead. Details show beside the chat.
* **Log conversations.** New WhatsApp messages are saved on the linked record. Older messages are not added.
* **Create records automatically.** A new chat can create a new contact or account in Zoho.
* **Share custom properties.** Choose which Risponse properties show up in Zoho.

## Example

A new customer messages your number. Risponse creates a contact in Zoho and logs the chat. When the customer writes again next week, your agent sees the earlier notes.

## Connect Zoho CRM

**1. Open the integration**

In Risponse, go to the Zoho CRM integration page. 

**2. Click connect**

Start the connection. 

**3. Approve in Zoho**

You go to Zoho. Sign in and accept the access request. 

**4. Choose your settings**

Turn on chat logging or automatic record creation if you want them.

> Some Zoho CRM free editions have fewer features. Check your Zoho plan if something does not sync.

>
> Link a few test chats first. Check that the right details appear before you turn on automatic creation.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Automatic creation adds a record for each new chat, including people who are not customers. Review your CRM regularly.
