# HubSpot integration

> Connect Risponse to HubSpot to link WhatsApp chats with contacts and companies, log messages, and sync tickets between both tools.

The HubSpot integration puts your WhatsApp conversations next to your CRM records. Your sales and support teams see the full story in one place.

## What you can do

* **Link a chat to a contact or company.** HubSpot details show beside the chat.
* **Log messages.** New WhatsApp messages are saved on the linked HubSpot record. Older messages are not added.
* **Sync tickets.** Tickets you create in Risponse can appear in HubSpot, in the pipeline you pick.
* **Create records automatically.** A new chat can create a new HubSpot contact or company.

## Example

A lead writes to your Sales number. Risponse creates a HubSpot contact and logs the chat. Your salesperson opens HubSpot later and sees every message.

## Connect HubSpot

**1. Open the integration**

In Risponse, go to the HubSpot integration page. 

**2. Click connect**

Start the connection. 

**3. Approve in HubSpot**

You go to HubSpot. Sign in and approve access. 

**4. Choose your settings**

Turn on message logging, ticket sync, or automatic record creation as you need them.

>
> You need permission in HubSpot to connect apps. Ask your HubSpot admin if you cannot approve access.

>
> Turn on automatic record creation only if you want every new chat in HubSpot. It can add many records.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Message logging sends customer conversations to HubSpot. Make sure that matches your privacy policy.
