# Freshdesk integration

> Connect Risponse to Freshdesk so tickets created from WhatsApp conversations also appear in your Freshdesk help desk.

If your support team already lives in Freshdesk, this integration saves double work. Tickets from your WhatsApp chats can appear there too.

## What it does

When you create a ticket in Risponse, a matching ticket can be sent to Freshdesk. Your agents can follow the case in the tool they prefer.

## Before you start

You need:

* A Risponse workspace.
* A Freshdesk account.
* Access to your Freshdesk profile settings, where your API key is shown.

## Connect Freshdesk

**1. Open the integration**

In Risponse, go to the Freshdesk integration page.

**2. Start the connection**

Click connect.

**3. Enter your Freshdesk address**

Type your Freshdesk domain. It looks like your-company.freshdesk.com.

**4. Enter your API key**

In Freshdesk, open your profile settings and copy your API key. Paste it into Risponse.

**5. Save**

Save the connection. Risponse and Freshdesk are now linked.

## Example

A customer sends photos of a damaged item on WhatsApp. An agent turns the chat into a ticket. The ticket also appears in Freshdesk, where the returns team picks it up.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Your API key works like a password. Do not share it in chat or email. If it leaks, reset it in Freshdesk and enter the new one in Risponse.

> [!TIP]
>
> Connect with a dedicated Freshdesk agent account. If a team member leaves, the connection keeps working.
