# Bulk message logs

> Track every bulk WhatsApp broadcast in Risponse. See sent, failed, and pending messages, then stop, retry, or duplicate a broadcast.

The logs show what happened to every bulk message you sent. Use them to spot problems and fix them quickly.

>
> A high number of failures can mean people blocked you or WhatsApp is limiting your number. Slow down, and only message people who expect to hear from you.

## What you can see

Open **Bulk messages** and go to **Logs**. 

For each broadcast you can see:

* How many messages were sent, failed, or are still waiting
* Who sent it and when
* Delivery and read rates 
* A list of each chat with its status, which you can filter

## What you can do

> **Stop a broadcast**
>
> Open the menu on a running broadcast and choose to stop it. Messages that have not gone out yet will not be sent. Messages already delivered stay in the chats.

> **Retry failed messages**
>
> Retry sends again only to people whose message failed. People who already got the message are skipped, so nobody gets it twice. 

> **Duplicate a broadcast**
>
> Duplicate opens a new broadcast with the same text, recipients, and settings filled in. Change what you need and send. This is handy for monthly updates.

## Why messages fail

* The number is not on WhatsApp.
* Your WhatsApp number was disconnected. See [connect WhatsApp](https://docs.risponse.com/get-started/connect-whatsapp.md).
* You ran out of [broadcast credits](https://docs.risponse.com/bulk-messaging/broadcast-credits.md). 
* WhatsApp limited your number.

> Check the logs soon after a big send. Fixing a disconnected number early lets you retry before the news is old.
